After a good start, Stan`s team led 9-3 after 9 ends. However, the introduction of super-sub Roger Stevens and the longer jacks they favoured enabled Mikes team to get back into the match gradually. After several exciting ends the match finished level at 16-16 after 18 ends, so an extra end was played. 1D managed to get the winning shot from Brian`s closest shot to win a really enjoyable game by 17 shots to 16.
