Congratulations to our Welwyn & District Bowls team who are 2026 Hertfordshire Champions for the National Bowls England, mixed 2×4 Competition. We played Baldock in Hertford and won by 42 v 18. We now play the winning team from Northamptonshire, Wellingborough on a neutral green. We wish our team continued success for the next round in August.

Roll Up. These will be on Monday 2-4 pm incl a cup of tea. Arrive before 1.45 pm to sort teams.
Weds 5 & 12 Aug. 5pm. Club bowls evening. Join in and play a game with our new members.
Sat 15 Aug. Captains v Presidents mixed club social event. A great way to meet and share some fun on the green. New members please join in and bowl this enjoyable event. Weds 19 Aug. 5pm. Club bowls evening. A fun evening to bowl with new & experienced players.
Sat 22 Aug. 5pm Pasta and Bowl. A great chance to meet new members and have some fun bowling on our super green. Then a pasta supper meal, all for only £7.50/person. Please add your name on the notice board or chat with Frank B to help or take part.
Weds 26 Aug. 5pm. Club bowls evening. Meet and socialise with all our members.
Sun 30 Aug. Men & Ladies Captains day. Another fun mixed club social event and teams drawn on the day. This is our chance to say a big THANK YOU to our 2026 Captains. Please sign up.
Mon 31 Aug to Fri 4 Sept. Triples week. A mixed team club event every evening. Teams are picked the week before and your team captain will agree a rota, for the nights you are available to bowl. Please sign up and add your name to the list. See our notice board soon.
Sat & Sun. 19/20 Sept. Club finals social weekend. Make a note of the date to see our members play for our club silverware. The day & times of matches to be published on WhatsApp.
