The Social Committee organises a number of events for all members outside of the playing season. Keep an eye out for the Club’s emails, apps and notices in the clubhouse for details of dates and times.
COFFEE MORNINGS
These take place on Thursday mornings each month. Cake donations are always appreciated. We try to get a speaker, so if you have any suggestions or would like to give a talk yourself, please get in touch. The talks usually last 30-40 minutes
QUIZ NIGHTS
Our Quiz Nights are always very popular. We have one scheduled for Saturday 21st March and hope to fit another one in shortly after Christmas.
PETANQUE
An informal friendly league runs during the autumn and winter. If this is of interest to you, please contact Ian Colpitts
GAMES NIGHTS AND AFTERNOONS
If you fancy joining other members for a fun time playing board games, darts, dominoes, carpet bowls and card games, look out for information about the next one on the WDBC Members app.
THEATRE TRIPS
These are proving very popular, especially to the Barn Theatre in WGC. If you are interested, please ask to be added to the WDBC Theatre Trips app.
BOOK CLUB
We are gauging interest in a book club. If this appeals to you, please get in touch with the Social Committee
PUB WALKS These were very popular in the past, but we need volunteers to organise and lead the walks. If you enjoy walking and know a good route in the local area, please let us know.
